The enTrance series contemplates the expectations of morbid nostalgia surrounding the Chernobyl exclusion zone. The images do not act as historical documentation but as ‘evidence’ of human presence, of the pervading tenebrous atmosphere and the memories held within. The gradual changes made by time and by visitors, question the perception of the sites remains.
