My work alludes to and considers the role of the photograph within systems of memory and truth. It is concerned with the inconsistencies of memory, the traces we leave and the stories we tell to make sense of our lives. Hybrid printmaking, grids, folds, altered images and maps, are all a structural presence within a multidisciplinary practice.

There is repetition in my making; in the printmaking, in the enamelled pieces, in the maps. It is the bringing together of individual parts to make a whole; including the leaves of books bound or folded together. It is a repetition of thoughts and memories that are fallible, that can be altered, sometimes imperceptibly.

Currently: My practice is based in a studio in West Devon and both Plymouth College of Art, where I am Workshop Coordinator (fine Print) and The Printery Studios, where I facilitate courses and external events.
